In June, a Roman jewel from the second century AD was found during the construction of the new funicular railway on the Salzberg in Hallstatt. Tuesday evening, the "Medusa von Hallstatt" was presented by OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH, the salt worlds and the municipality of Hallstatt in the historical Salzkammergut community. From 2026, it is to be seen in the permanent exhibition of the Linz Castle Museum.
