River Cam levels 'exceptionally low' as drought hits Cambridgeshire

The lack of rain in the region means that the river level in the Cam is "exceptionally low", according to the Environment Agency. The Great Ouse, which flows through parts of Huntingdonshire has also been affected: recorded at Denver in Norfolk its long-term average has dropped to just 5%.
