Richmond woman gets 48 years for brutally stabbing the mother of her ex’s child in a fit of jealousy

Kristy Sue Sewell, 39, was found guilty of murder and sentenced on March 4 to 48 years in prison. Sewell was 39 years old when she was arrested in June of 2019 for the murder of 28-year-old Kirsten Holland. An autopsy would later conclude that Holland was stabbed 14 times, but did not die straight away.
