Gdańsk, Gdynia and Bydgoszcz – in these cities, police officers from the Department for Combating Corruption conducted an operation, as a result of which five people were arrested on suspicion of participating in the procedure of accelerating the legalization of the stay of foreigners in Poland. The investigation reveals further threads of criminal activity. Among the suspects is a 51-year-old official from the Pomeranian Voivodeship Office.
Five people who were supposed to take part in the procedure of legalizing the stay of foreigners on the territory of Poland were detained by the police in Gdansk, Gdynia and Bydgoszcz, the prosecutor's office said on Monday. A spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk, Mariusz Duszyński, informed that the detainees were taken to the prosecutor's office, where they heard the charges and were interrogated as suspects.
The Riau Police's Criminal Investigation Directorate confiscated and sealed the house belonging to former Riau DPRD Secretary Muflihun on Jalan Banda Aceh, Tangkerang Timur Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru, Friday (11/22/2024). The confiscation was related to the alleged corruption case of fictitious Travel Orders (SPPD) at the Riau DPRD Secretariat.
