Report: Pilot in deadly Bob Marshall Wilderness plane crash reported ice before accident

The pilot reported airframe icing and engine trouble before the crash that killed three family members, according to a preliminary National Transportation Safety Board report.

The crash, which happened around 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 17 northeast of Seeley Lake, killed pilot Mark Anderson and his two daughters, Lainey and Ellie Anderson, all of Huntsville, Alabama.
