Remains recovered near Tampa Bay area bridge identified as second missing USF student, officials say
DNA and dental records confirmed the second missing USF doctoral student as investigators said the case remains active and additional charges could follow.

- Prosecutors allege Abugharbieh purchased trash bags, Lysol wipes, and Febreze, and searched ChatGPT about disposing of a body three days before the students were last seen alive.
- Abugharbieh is held without bond at the Falkenburg Road Jail and faces two counts of first-degree murder and multiple additional charges; a hearing is scheduled for Tuesday.
- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is "working to release both bodies for religious reasons" to families in Bangladesh, Sheriff Chronister said, respecting the victims' customs.
