Reju Expands Industry Network Through Its Work with Six Mills
The partnerships give Reju access to manufacturing capacity that can turn regenerated polyester into finished fabric at scale.
On Tuesday, Reju announced collaborations with six mills to accelerate integration of regenerated polyester into the global textile supply chain, moving recycled material from raw output to finished fabrics.
Reju Chief Executive Officer Patrik Frisk recently described the fashion industry as facing systemic breakdown, noting that rising volumes of cheap garments create a widening 'waste gap' requiring new collection and sorting structures.
The company's manufacturing partners include A. Sampaio, RDD Textiles, Swisstex Direct, Tintex Textiles, FOV Fabrics, and Utenos Trikotazas, providing capabilities for circular knit design and technical wovens. Frisk said, 'By bringing mills like these into our ecosystem, we can turn regenerated material into real product.'
These partnerships follow a year of momentum, including €135 million in funding from NIKI, as Reju establishes regeneration hubs in Rochester, New York; Lacq, France; and Sittard-Geleen, Netherlands, supporting industrial-scale textile-to-textile regeneration.
Frisk stated that Reju plans roughly 20 'megafactories' worldwide by 2034, projecting that as the Regeneration Hub network grows, so will the company's ability to deliver consistent, high-quality regenerated polyester manufacturers and brands can build on.
