Alex Tóth had to be substituted after 15 minutes in the Bournemouth-AC Milan El match. Head coach Marco Rose said he had suffered a hamstring injury.
This is not how Alex Tóth planned his international debut for Bournemouth. The 21-year-old Hungarian midfielder, who joined the English team from Ferencváros in January, was only allowed to play for fifteen minutes in the Europa League third round when he unfortunately had to be substituted due to a muscle injury. However, he had reason to be happy, as Bournemouth defeated Italian AC Milan 3-0.
The injury came at a particularly bad time, as the Hungarian international midfielder could have just been given more opportunities at Bournemouth.
Despite Damir Redzic's two assists, Salzburg drew at home to Celje, Alex Tóth (Bournemouth) was only able to play 15 minutes against Milan due to injury, while Loic Nego scored an own goal at Omonia in the late evening matches of the 3rd round of the Europa League regular season.
