The situation is still critical in Charente-Maritime and Maine-et-Loire. It improves in the Loire-Atlantique where the red alert has been lifted.
The Charente-Maritime and Maine-et-Loire remained this Tuesday in red vigilance at the floods.
Vigicrues recalls, however, that if this "slow decline is underway (...), the risk of flooding is still well present". Three departments in western France remain on Tuesday in red vigilance.
"A slow decline has begun since Monday and will continue at an equivalent rate in the next 24 hours," Vigicrues announced on Tuesday morning.
