Re/Max Acquisition Complete, Headquarters to Leave Colorado
The combined company will trade under REAX after the merger closed, and its board authorized up to $450 million in share repurchases.
On August 25, 2026, Real REMAX Group Inc. began trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol "REAX," completing the business combination of The Real Brokerage Inc. and RE/MAX Holdings, Inc.
The merger integrates Real's cloud-based brokerage model with REMAX's established global franchise network, creating a platform spanning over 120 countries with more than 180,000 agents worldwide.
Following a 10-for-1 share consolidation, former Real shareholders received one share of Real REMAX Group stock; former REMAX stockholders received either 0.515 shares or approximately $4.33 in cash and 0.3535 shares.
Real REMAX Group's Board of Directors authorized a share repurchase program allowing for up to $450 million in common stock purchases, reflecting confidence in the organization's long-term strategy.
"This acquisition marks a significant milestone," Chairman and CEO Tamir Poleg said, as the platform aims to empower real estate professionals and improve consumer experiences for agents and shareholders alike.
