After several months of searching for a buyer, Rakuten France will finally put an end to its marketplace activity. The former PriceMinister platform, one of the pioneers of online commerce in France, will disappear from the e-commerce landscape at the end of the year.
Faced with the decline of its business and the lack of a buyer, Rakuten France will close "as of the end of 2026, with a transition period allowing sellers and buyers to make their arrangements", says the management.
