Reports: Raiders Re-Sign CB Eric Stokes to 3-Year, $30M Deal
Eric Stokes signed a three-year deal with $20 million guaranteed to stabilize the Raiders' cornerback position after starting 16 games last season, team officials said.
The Associated Press reported the Las Vegas Raiders agreed on Mar 9, 2026 to a three-year, $30 million contract to retain cornerback Eric Stokes, including $20 million guaranteed, a source said anonymously.
With nearly $112 million in salary cap space, the Raiders aim to rebuild under second-year GM John Spytek as they enter free agency Wednesday, seeking roster improvement.
Stokes started a career-high 16 games last year, finishing with 53 tackles and five pass breakups while opposing quarterbacks targeted him 55 times for 338 yards and two touchdowns.
Extending Stokes moves him beyond last season's one-year deal after four years with the Green Bay Packers, where he missed 23 games and recorded career totals of 181 tackles, 19 pass breakups, one interception.
Pro Football Focus rated Stokes 18th among 114 corners, reflecting league regard, while he played all 17 games for the Packers in 2024 but made only seven starts, showing uneven usage.
