Quebec wildfire smoke causes widespread smog warnings, grounds some water bombers
Smoke from northern Quebec wildfires has caused smog warnings and grounded some of the province's water bombers.
29 fires are currently burning out of control, though heavy rain and wind are expected in the coming days to aid firefighting efforts.
Thousands of Quebecers have been forced from their homes, but no towns are currently at immediate risk of burning. Environment Canada has issued smog warnings for much of the province due to poor air quality.
