Russian President Putin, according to his own statements, is willing to hold peace talks with Ukraine under certain conditions. Russia is open to this and would also stop the fighting if Ukraine, among other things, gives up its efforts to join NATO, said Putin. Kiev and NATO, however, suspect a deception maneuver.
