Federal convict Kenel J. Martínez Bristol, who was identified as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of 25-year-old tourist Kevin Mares, which occurred early Sunday morning on Lucila Silva Street, in front of the "Shelter for Abused Men" business in the La Perla neighborhood of San Juan, surrendered this afternoon at the Hato Rey Judicial Center.
The defendant faces charges of first-degree murder and violations of the Weapons Law.
