The Basque Country is the fourth autonomous community with the lowest public debt in the third quarter of the year, at 11.8% of its GDP, according to data released this Monday by the Bank of Spain. The data also shows that Spanish public debt reached a new record high of €1,709,330 million. This figure represents an increase of €18,408 million compared to the second quarter and €73,599 million compared to the same period in 2024.
