In a letter sent to the NEW Party rally held in Üsküdar, imprisoned mayor Sinem Dedetaş said, "We built happiness together in Üsküdar, we succeeded together, and we must protect it together. Justice will prevail, our unity will win."
At the "The Decision Belongs to the Nation, Üsküdar Belongs to the Nation" gathering organized by the New Party in Üsküdar, a letter sent from prison by the detained Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş was read.
Following the Üsküdar Municipality elections, which the AKP won after operations and transfers, the NEW Party decided to hold a rally in Üsküdar. Citizens flocked to the rally held in İskele Square.
