A protest march has begun in Maastricht calling for an immediate end to animal testing. According to Animal Rights, which is organizing the march, about a hundred people are participating with megaphones, banners, and protest signs. Animal testing is no longer necessary because "in 2026, innovative, animal-test-free methods will be available," says campaign leader Els Van Campenhout.
