In the Serbian town of Pancevo, about 82,000 liters of oil were spilled during the pumping of oil from an oil refinery onto a barge on the Danube on Monday. The State Prosecutor's Office in Pancevo announced today that it has already launched an investigation into the extent of pollution of the Danube and the causes of the accident, Serbian news agency Tanjug reported.
