Update in Search for Alleged Triple Killer
Police continue an intensive multi-day search involving bomb disposal and aerial units after three people were fatally shot in Lake Cargelligo, officials said.
- On Thursday, NSW Police released images of a white dual-cab Ford Ranger on Loughnan Street, Lake Cargelligo, as the six-day search for Julian Ingram continued.
- Ingram, 37, is accused of shooting three people dead at two Lake Cargelligo locations on Thursday, including Sophie Quinn, 25, John Harris, 32, and Nerida Quinn, 50, while Kaleb Macqueen, 19, was seriously injured.
- The ute bears NSW registration DM-07-GZ and identifying work gear including a Lachlan Shire Council magnet with 1947, an orange light bar, a silver toolbox and work tools.
- More than 100 officers, including the Tactical Operations Unit supported by bomb disposal, general duty officers and PolAir, have joined the search since Thursday.
- Searches have moved to Mount Hope, about 100 kilometres north-west, after reported sightings, with police warning local residents and visitors to stay cautious amid 45 degrees Celsius heat.
