Top-selling author Thelyson Orelien is “devastated” by the scandal over his alleged use of AI to write his debut novel and has returned home to Montreal, friends and fellow writers say.
Suspected of having written his first novel, It was that or dying, with the help of an AI, the Canadian-Haitian poet was confused for several proven plagiarisms. He will not finally come to Belgium to present his book.
