Polaris RZR Factory Racing aims for a third consecutive Dakar victory with a five-driver team and a new SSV1 race platform designed for extreme desert conditions.
- On Nov. 24, 2025, Polaris Off Road and LOEB FrayMédia Motorsport announced a five-driver roster and the debut of a purpose-built SSV for Dakar 2026 in a Minneapolis press release.
- Polaris framed the expansion as a bid to push off-road performance and defend recent Dakar success, with a dual-platform strategy to maximize reliability and competitive edge, Alex Scheuerell said.
