Prisoner dies in Delano prison, eight inmates suspected

Eight inmates at Kern Valley State Prison in Delano are suspected of attacking and killing fellow inmate Juan Trujillo, 50.  The attack took place in a recreational yard and involved makeshift weapons.  The big picture: The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is investigating Trujillo’s death as a homicide.  Prison officials identified the suspected attackers as Zackary Holguin, Edwin Perez, Kevin Tello, Daniel Medivi…
