In July, two prison officers left their jobs due to close, romantic and intimate relationships with convicts, and one catering employee had her prison access revoked. In early August, it was reported that another case of extra-service relationships had been identified in Vilnius Prison - an employee of the Resocialization Department had been in an extra-service relationship with convicts for about six months.
