The President of the Republic, José Antonio Kast, listened to the comments of the neighbors, and answered questions on various issues of citizen concern, and emphasized the government's willingness to address social emergencies, in security, employment and economics.
The statements were made in Concepción, during a citizen meeting. All this in the context of the criticisms for the fuel increase in Chile. The Executive chose to transparentize prices rather than subsidize them. The central argument is that subsidies mean more debts and higher future costs.
