President 2027 : Clementine Autain candidate to represent the union of the left

The former Member of Parliament for Seine-Saint-Denis, who is now a member of the Ecologist and Social Group in the Assembly, defends the organisation of a primary and a single candidate on the left for the next presidential election.

A fervent defender of the left union, the Member of Parliament for Seine-Saint-Denis relies on a poll published on Wednesday, according to which a candidate supported by LFI, the PS, the Ecologists, the PCF and the other left parties could qualify in the second round.

The scores, relishing for the union of the left, are based on a case of ill-conceived figure: a pact between Raphaël Glucksmann and Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Clementine Autain said she was ready to act as a single left-wing candidate for the 2027 presidential election. A call for union relayed by environmentalists, but held back by the persistent divisions between LFI and the PS.

It's a poll of the Toluna-Harris Interactive Institute that makes the left respond this Wednesday.

The founder of the new l'Après party said she was in favour of a common left-wing candidacy for the presidential election of 2027.
