Anthropic Is Said to Plan Public Filing for Mega-IPO Monday
Bankers are targeting as much as $100 billion as the Claude maker prepares a Form S-1 and roadshow, according to reports.
Anthropic PBC plans to file its Form S-1 publicly on Monday at around 9 a.m. in New York, according to people familiar with the matter, initiating what is expected to be a historic IPO.
Fueled by the popularity of Claude models and Claude Code, Anthropic's valuation reached $965 billion in a May funding round, positioning it to rival SpaceX's record-breaking debut.
Revenue for the first half of 2026 hit $16.3 billion, though the company reported an $80.7 billion net loss, with roughly $72 billion attributable to noncash bookkeeping and financing items.
Marketing for the offering is expected to begin the week of Nov. 9, as Anthropic navigates market jitters and public scrutiny over safety and regulation following government disputes.
Pending stockholder approval, the company plans to commit 5% of its stock to a new public benefit fund, while the board may add 2% as valuation climbs beyond fixed starting points.
