Portion of Highway 65 named after fallen Porterville firefighters

Summary by Ground News
A portion of Highway 65 will now be known as Captain Ramon Figueroa and Firefighter Patrick Jones Memorial Highway. The two ran into the burning Porterville Library to make sure everyone got out, but didn't make it back out themselves. State Senator Melissa Hurtado spearheaded the idea and worked with city and county leaders to make it happen.
