Two people are dead and another is injured after a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 42 in Douglas County, according to Oregon State Police. A Freightliner tanker truck was pulling into the center turn lane to merge onto the highway in order to head eastbound. A Jeep Liberty, driven by 19-year-old Bronwyn Gnagy, was traveling eastbound at the time and stopped abruptly in the left lane. A bunked Mack log truck was traveling behind the Jeep Liberty.
