Police saved a 34-year-old. His body was drifting with his face facing the water surface.

In the evening, police received information about a person who jumped off the pier at Plac Kościuszki in Gdynia into the water near the Oceanarium building. Officers immediately drove to the scene and began a rescue operation. After pulling out the unconscious 34-year-old from the water, they handed him over to medical rescue services.
