On Tuesday, June 2, the Laval Police Service (LPS) unveiled its annual activity report for 2025, where it is learned that interventions for people with a mental disorder have reached a new peak with 3,293 cases, or 20% of all police activities. The year 2025 highlighted the extent of mental health and homelessness issues, which represent an increasing proportion of police activities in the region, up 4%, among others, from 2024.
