Police Rescue Turtle Trapped Among Rocks in Baja California Sur

First Police Officer Edgar Márquez López, an element of the State Preventive Police, rescued a sea turtle trapped among the rocks in Los Cabos, on the night of August 17, 2026. It happened in the Playa Empacadora where the intense rains and the strong waves dragged the specimen towards the shore. After several minutes of maneuvers, the sea turtle was returned healthy and saved to its natural habitat.
