Acting on a tip-off, Manali police raided a private hotel in Model Town. During the raid, two individuals, residents of Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), were found in possession of 20.420 grams of heroin. Police arrested both and registered a case against them under sections 21 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. In another operation, a team from Kullu police station arrested a man on the Upper Badah-Pahnala road.
