Manitoba Marks International Overdose Awareness Day

The Manitoba government commemorated International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31, highlighting the critical importance of education, awareness, and compassionate services in reducing the harm caused by drug use. The announcement was made by Housing, Addictions, and Homelessness Minister Bernadette Smith, who is also responsible for mental health, during an event held at the Manitoba Legislative Building.
