- The Petroleum Division confirmed kerosene prices dropped by Rs17.33 to Rs450.15 and light diesel oil fell by Rs25.31 to Rs369.72 per litre, with targeted subsidies for transport continuing.
- Separately, Pakistan is hosting high-stakes peace talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad, an event Shehbaz described as a "proud moment for Pakistan but for the entire Muslim world."
- Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received commendation for dousing regional "flames of war," with Shehbaz adding history will remember their services in "golden words.
