As of today, two new measures are in effect to alleviate aircraft noise in the north of Brussels. This was announced by Federal Minister of Mobility Jean-Luc Crucke (Les Engagés). Aircraft landing via the 07L route, which has caused significantly more nuisance over the past year, will enter Brussels airspace at a higher altitude and land at a steeper angle. They will also descend in a straight line.
