- Walmart told Newsweek on Monday it is removing impacted products and implementing a sales block, stating "Safety is a top priority." Symptoms including fever and cramps appear within 12 to 72 hours.
- As of Monday, no illnesses have been reported related to this recall. The CDC estimates Salmonella causes about 1.35 million infections annually in the United States, posing particular risks to children and seniors.
