The New Orleans Pelicans waived Christian Shumate. The Pelicans then signed-and-waived Johnny O'Neil. Both players were signed to exhibit 10 contracts. Both Shumate and O'Neil are expected to join the Laketown Squadron for the upcoming G League season. Shumate and O'Neil both played for the Squadron last season.
