Turkish airline Pegasus Airlines has completed the takeover of Czech Airlines (ČSA) and the Smartwings group. The transaction, worth approximately 3.8 billion crowns, will bring together more than 175 aircraft under one owner, with confirmed orders for another 140 aircraft. According to the company, Smartwings will retain its brand and current operations.
According to a statement made by Pegasus to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the acquisition will take place on October 1, 2026, following the obtaining of necessary administrative permits and the fulfillment of the share transfer conditions.
