Ambulance hits, kills pedestrian in Monterey County Tuesday

(KRON) -- An ambulance in Monterey County fatally struck a pedestrian early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. At around 3:30 a.m., a white and red Ford Transit ambulance operated by American Medical Response was in Salinas, traveling southbound on Abbot Street south of Harris Road.
