TGE aims to close the acquisition of the 151-room Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca within two months, expanding its global hospitality portfolio, officials said.
- On Dec. 26, 2025, The Generation Essentials Group , a subsidiary of AMTD Digital Inc., executed a sale and purchase agreement to acquire the Hilton Garden Inn New York City Tribeca.
- The Generation Essentials Group, a subsidiary of AMTD Digital Inc., was jointly established by AMTD Group, AMTD IDEA Group and AMTD Digital and raised its first SPAC on December 18, 2025.
- The hotel at 39 6th Ave features 151 rooms and suites, a full fitness center, subway access and 5,000 square feet of retail space.
- TGE has completed the irrevocable deposit as part of the purchase process and said it aims to close the acquisition within the next two months.
- The deal aligns with AMTD's one‑stop digital and hospitality services because AMTD IDEA Group and affiliated entities connect East and West through these solutions, while AMTD Group spans media and premium hospitality.
