Rob Esche has served as the UTica Comets’ president since the American Hockey League team was formed in 2013. The Comets’ president title is transferring to Adam Pawlick, the team announced Tuesday. Pawlick has been the Comets’ vice president since 2017. Esche remains the CEO and president of Mohawk Valley Garden, an umbrella group which oversees the Comets and other businesses.
