Rangers Legend Paul Gascoigne Left 'in Agony' After Terrifying Accident

Over the festive period, Paul Gascoigne, former England international and Rangers legend, was rushed to Poole hospital with six broken ribs and punctured lungs.
During a routine household task, Gascoigne fell backwards at his home and recounted the accident in an upcoming Clutch 9 documentary.
Recounting his fall in Clutch 9, Gascoigne said he cried and begged for a surgeon, experienced panic and neck swelling during treatment.
Steve Foster, close friend, driver and personal assistant, drove Gascoigne to Poole hospital and said he is grateful for the support and determined to recover.
Gascoigne's past includes dramatic medical interventions and a storied England career, adding to a long history that includes a near-fatal 2004 alcohol detox and 57 caps from 1988 to 1998.
