Maye Has 3 Touchdowns as Patriots Rally to Beat Dolphins 24-19
Drake Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards and accounted for three touchdowns as New England erased a 10-point deficit.
On Sunday, the New England Patriots rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat the Miami Dolphins 24-19, with quarterback Drake Maye throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for a score.
Playing in wet, sloppy conditions at Hard Rock Stadium, the Patriots struggled early while missing star receiver Brown due to lingering injuries, allowing Miami to build a 13-3 halftime lead.
Maye completed 16 of 20 passes for 199 yards, including a 48-yard touchdown to wide receiver DeMario Douglas and a 43-yard scoring reception by Kyle Williams as New England outscored Miami in the second half.
The loss drops Miami to 1-6, despite a late 35-yard touchdown from Malik Willis to Kevin Coleman, after Rhamondre Stevenson recovered an onside kick to seal the result.
Now 5-3, the Patriots will host the Green Bay Packers next week, while the Dolphins prepare to host Detroit in their next matchup.
