US Army Awards $192M to Palantir, Anduril for TITAN Production
The production orders fund four advanced and four basic systems as the Army expands the AI-enabled targeting platform after years of prototyping.
- On Tuesday, the Army awarded Palantir Technologies and Anduril Industries $192 million to produce eight Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node systems, pushing the targeting platform into production.
- Years of soldier feedback at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, drove the design; officials touted TITAN as a "game changing" mobile ground station capable of ingesting sensor data into target recommendations.
- Palantir, working with L3Harris Technologies, received $127 million for the production contract, while Anduril received $65 million for hardware and "shelter integration" to deliver four advanced and four basic variants over 18 months.
- Commanders can plug the "vehicle agnostic" systems into diverse platforms. "It's a big deal," Palantir's Caleb Royster told Axios, with additional production orders expected in fiscal 2027.
- Using Anduril's Lattice data mesh to fuse geospatial and signals intelligence, these systems support the Pentagon's Joint All-Domain Command and Control networking goals for long-range precision fires.
