Packers place Skyy Moore on injured reserve and activate Savion Williams
The roster shuffle leaves Green Bay thin at receiver and on the defensive line as Javon Hargrave is expected to miss the rest of the season.
- On Saturday, October 17, the Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Skyy Moore, defensive tackle Jonathan Ford, and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave on injured reserve while activating wide receiver Savion Williams from injured reserve.
- Hargrave will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles tendon sustained during a 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Moore faces at least four weeks on the sidelines due to a severe ankle sprain.
- Williams is expected to make his 2026 debut Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. The team also elevated edge rusher Arron Mosby and wide receiver Coleman Owen from the practice squad to strengthen depth.
- Moore's absence impacts the special teams unit, where he served as the primary returner. With Jayden Reed sidelined, the receiver depth depends on Matthew Golden and Christian Watson to maintain production.
- Williams now has a critical opportunity to establish himself within the offense alongside Golden and Watson. The Packers' thin receiver group may prompt front office activity before the November 10 trade deadline.
