OVHcloud meets 2026 targets, posts first positive cash flow since IPO
The French cloud operator said levered free cash flow turned positive as public cloud revenue rose 18.9% and it set 2027 margin targets.
- On Tuesday, French cloud operator OVHcloud reported revenue rose 7.2% to €1.15 billion for the year ending August 31, achieving its first positive levered free cash flow of €24.7 million since its 2021 listing.
- Public cloud revenue increased 18.9% to €255.1 million while adjusted EBITDA rose 9.7% to €480.5 million, a 42.0% margin; CEO Octave Klaba said the year was one of "discipline" and the group had "returned to its fundamentals."
- Klaba told Reuters that OVHcloud maintains 250 megawatts of connected capacity, with 110 MW ready to onboard new clients without requiring construction spending rivals must undertake.
- OVHcloud expects to launch its first AI model in early 2027, with OVHai Workspace releasing a pilot shortly; the company develops models on Jupiter, Europe's fastest supercomputer.
- Klaba called national strategies for European Union AI gigafactories "doomed to failure," arguing a proposed €200 million public commitment to buy AI services over five years is too small to underpin required private investment.
