Ovarian cancer is ‘nasty’ and hard to diagnose: QIMR Berghofer researcher

QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute Dr Penny Webb says ovarian cancer is a “nasty” because it is an internal cancer. “The early symptoms are often very nonspecific,” Dr Webb told Sky News Australia. “It can be hard to diagnose. “And that means most women by the time it's diagnosed, cancers often spread and so then it's hard to treat.”
