The Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (AAA) reported this Saturday that the Canóvanas Filter Plant was taken out of operation as a precaution after a substance "with the appearance of oil" was detected in the system.
Customers in the municipality of Canóvanas, as well as the municipality of Loíza and surrounding areas, may experience low water pressure or temporary interruptions.
