The Baltimore Orioles survived a wild ninth inning to beat the Boston Red Sox 10-9 on Thursday. Baltimore Orioles' Adley Rutschman became the first catcher in major league history with five hits in an opener. The Red Sox were playing in front of 5,000-seat Fenway Park for the first time.
